I want to join the Facebook group, but I want to maintain complete privacy.

Even with utilizing every privacy option available to each person, Recovery 2.0 does not control Facebook, and thus we cannot guarantee your privacy.

This group is what Facebook designates "closed". To read exactly what that means, please go to this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/220336891328465

I would like to add the following: We live in a complex and strange time. We all realize deep down that it is getting more and more difficult to find ways to express what's really going on with us in a safe, protected, private forum. This is Facebook. We are in a closed group that gives us more privacy than a public group, but less privacy than a "secret" group. With a secret group, which is what Tommy always uses in his 8-week coaching programs, no one can see it or get in or even notice it anywhere else on Facebook.

This is great for privacy, but not great to reach people in need. We choose Closed Group in order to create a group like this one where people can find it, connect with each other and ask for help when they need it.
Our decision is for this group to remain a closed group and for all to be aware of the privacy settings Facebook has in place.
