Sponshorship
#### 20221128
Regarding Sponsorship,
We do not have guide for finding a Recovery 2.0 Sponsor at this time, I have listed few options below, that you may want to consider.
I have frequently heard the advice of "Find someone that has what you want and ask them to sponsor you" in AA Meetings. I think it is good advice.
* Consider attending 90 meetings in 90 days. This is a common recommendation within 12 step programs.
* Consider attending other 12 step programs in addition to Recovery 2.0. Some have reported that it was easier to find a sponsor, that had what they want, in a "Recovery 1.0" program.
* Keep the meeting schedule for your preferred recovery programs handy via bookmark or by printing.
Here is a link to the recovery 2.0 Online meeting schedule,
https://r20.com/meetings/
* Go to meetings when you "don't feel like going"
* Share in the meetings you attend, even if all you share is that you are looking for a sponsor. Share especially when you "don't feel like sharing"
* Attend the Thursday 4:00 PM PT 12 Step Study Meeting and share that you are looking for a sponsor
* Find a home group meeting
* Ask for and accept a service position in meetings
* Consider participating in the Recovery 2.0 facebook group,
https://www.facebook.com/groups/R20Members some members have reported success finding a sponsor there
* Consider attending book study and or 12-Step Study meetings.
* Commit to a morning Sadhana and practicing it every day for at least 40 days, If you search the Video Library in the members area for Sadhana, you will find 25 to choose from
* Watch videos from the Video Library that are of interest to you, there are now over 1,000.00 to choose from.
* Check out the "Are you a new member?" section in the members portal and watch the recommended videos
* Join the next "New Members Welcome call", this will be posted in the member portal once the next call is scheduled. It provides an opportunity to spend quality time with Tommy
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to be of assistance.
